An awareness programme to sensitize police officers in Tangalle Division on current legal trends was held from 26th March 2007 to 28th March 2007 at the Chandra Guest House – Tangalle. Mediation, Human Rights, Forensic Medicine, Domestic Violence, Non Violent Communication and Counseling were the subjects that were discussed during this three days awareness programme.

    


Three more awareness programmes has already scheduled to conduct in Kegalle, N’Eliya and Monaragala Districts. Subsequently, One-day refresher programmes would be conducted to evaluate the progress of the three days awareness programmes and to award certificates for the participants for their active participation.
